Get a subsidy for operating costs associated with the development of Deep Tech technological solutions

The Call for Applications targets industrial research and experimental development projects. Enterprises can receive a subsidy for the costs associated with research and development of advanced technological solutions and highly innovative procedures, products and services. The call defines the supported Deep Tech areas within which the project must fall.

Application Call III. – DEEP TECH

The goal of the program is to support companies in their research and development activities in the field of Deep Tech solutions. The subsidy can be obtained for operating expenses associated with research and development in one of the defined areas of the Call.

Key information

Rate of support: depending on the size of the company 25% – 80%

Subsidy amount: min. 3 million CZK and max 125 million CZK

Eligible applicants: small and medium-sized enterprises, large enterprises only in cooperation

The project must be implemented in the Czech Republic outside Prague (the company’s registered office can be in Prague)

Outputs of supported R&D: pilot, proven technology, utility model, industrial model, prototype, functional sample or software.

The following areas of R&D activities will be supported

Projects must be related to the so-called deeptech such as:

Advanced materials

Aviation and space, smart mobility and unmanned systems

Robotics

Semiconductors (microchips)

Biotechnology and advanced technologies in healthcare

Electronics and Photonics

Sustainable energy and clean (low-emission) technologies incl. means of transport and technology for environmental protection

Communication and network technologies

Artificial intelligence and machine learning, including big data

What expenses can be included in the project

External services: contract research, R&D consulting services used for project purposes and other operating costs

Personnel costs: salaries and insurance premiums of researchers, technicians and other technical support staff to the extent necessary for the purposes of the project

Costs of tools and equipment in the form of depreciation of long-term tangible movable assets

Material and component costs

Flat-rate costs of 15% of personal costs
