Calls no. 67, 66 and 65 of the OP JT: Infrastructure for further education
People and skills are one of the priorities of the Just Transformation Operational Program, which supports the development of the Karlovy Vary, Moravian-Silesian and Ústí Regions. Subsidies can be awarded to facilities that have proven to provide, or after the implementation of the project will provide, further and lifelong education in the field of climate change (mitigation and adaptation) or transformation of the region.
What activities can be subsidized and in what amount
The aim of the call is to support investment projects focused on the construction, modernization and equipment of non-formal education and lifelong learning facilities or to support the project preparation of these facilities.
Applicants can choose from two activities to apply for a subsidy and receive a subsidy of 85% of the total eligible expenses.
Activity 1 – Infrastructure for further education
- Construction, building modifications and modernization of premises (construction modifications, utility networks, laboratories, workshops, specialist and specialized classrooms, teaching spaces and necessary facilities) and acquisition of equipment (furniture and equipment such as electronics, hardware and software equipment for teaching premises and related facilities )
- Subsidy amount: min. 500 thousand CZK – max. 15 million CZK (Karlovary Region and Moravian-Silesian Region) / max. 40 million CZK (Ústí Region)
Activity 2 – Project preparation of infrastructure for interest education
- Preparation of project documentation and background documentation for projects of construction or modernization of equipment (expenses for processing a detailed feasibility study and all stages of the future equipment project)
- Subsidy amount: min. 100 thousand CZK – max. unlimited
Each applicant can submit only one project to the call and choose one of the two supported activities. However, it is possible to include multiple devices in one request.
Who can apply for a subsidy?
Eligible applicants for subsidies are the following entities operating in the Moravian-Silesian, Ústí and Karlovy Vary regions
- School legal entities defined by the School Act
- Municipality
- Voluntary associations of municipalities
- Regions
- Organizations established or founded by municipalities/regions operating in the field of education
- NGOs that have been continuously active in the field of education, training and enlightenment or in the field of work with children and youth for at least 2 years immediately before submitting the application
- Churches or church organizations that have been continuously active in the field of education, training and awareness or in the field of work with children and youth for at least 2 years immediately before submitting the application
- Other legal entities engaged in informal and interest-based education and lifelong learning
Organizations that can receive a subsidy
- Leisure center (children’s and youth center, interest activity station) registered in the Register of Schools and Educational Facilities
- Elementary art school registered in the Register of Schools and School Facilities
- Basic library according to law
- School group or school club according to law
- Other non-formal education and lifelong learning facilities
